BACKGROUND: The Assistant City Attorney desires to discuss with the Mayor and Council the pending damage claim of Jose Arciniega and Dante Guzman, filed by and through their attorney, Haley J. Dennis, relating to an incident that occurred in April 2023.
The Assistant City Attorney advises the City Council that the Council should determine that disclosure of confidential communications between the Council and the Assistant City Attorney regarding the above referenced claim will seriously impair the ability of the City to defend the City's interest, and from that determination, the Council should convene in executive session to discuss this matter.
