BACKGROUND: In accordance with the True North Culture Statement in that we do everything for the citizens, this funding will be used for the library’s greatest needs not currently or completely being met. These funds cannot supplant any type of government or municipal funding. The funds need to be spent by the end of 2024. The Library previously received funding for technology improvements via the Friends of the Lawton Public Library. The Mayor will need to sign the final report. The foundation understands the signature date will be after January 17, 2024.
